Answer first

Is Blue Bay Village good for an all-in beach holiday in Watamu?

Yes—especially for travellers who prefer a club-style resort with meals, entertainment and beach facilities organised around the property. Blue Bay currently lists 89 rooms and villas, freshwater swimming pool, restaurant, bar, wellness centre, diving access and two white-sand beach areas within Watamu Marine Park. Its dining programme uses a “soft all-inclusive” format rather than a fully unrestricted all-inclusive package.

How we would book Blue Bay Village

Read the meal-plan inclusions carefully: “soft all-inclusive” does not mean every drink is included. If you prefer a refined à-la-carte boutique experience, Visiwa or Kobe may fit better. If you want a structured club holiday with entertainment and Marine Park access, Blue Bay is more distinctive.

Why we’d book it

  • Two beach areas inside Watamu Marine Park.
  • Freshwater pool.
  • 89-room/villa inventory.
  • Structured dining and entertainment.

Trade-offs

  • Club atmosphere rather than intimate boutique feel.
  • Soft all-inclusive has exclusions.
  • Some public website elements appear older, so reconfirm current room specifics.
