Kouba · spa and rooftop dining · guest-approved service
Lamaraz is a strong Algiers choice for guests who value service, a spa and a quieter Kouba base. Booking.com shows 9.1/10 from 760 guest reviews, with staff at 9.5, cleanliness and comfort at 9.3, and value at 8.8. These scores and totals can change.
Why choose Lamaraz?
The verified guest response is unusually strong for Algiers. The hotel is on Rue Mohamed Rabia in Kouba and has a spa, fitness facilities, restaurants and free private parking. It works best for a relaxed hotel-focused stay with transport into the central sights, rather than a stay based on walking out into the Casbah.
Conditional Booking.com member rate
The exact Lamaraz Hotels booking page currently invites signed-in guests to unlock a members-only price for selected dates. Booking.com says Genius discounts depend on booking and stay dates and other available deals. There is no fixed saving promised here: sign in, choose your dates and compare the final total with the public rate and any direct hotel quote.
What makes the stay distinctive?
Guests repeatedly rate the staff highly. The property offers a spa and wellness centre, gym, two restaurants and free private parking. Breakfast is well reviewed, but check whether your selected room rate includes it. The hotel's own site is useful for comparing a direct rate.
Practical checks before booking
- Map Kouba against the sights you plan to visit; allow for city traffic.
- Choose the room and view actually offered rather than relying on a photo of another category.
- Check the spa's opening hours, treatments and any access charge with the hotel.
- Compare breakfast inclusion, taxes, payment timing and cancellation between the member and public rates.
- Check the latest guest reviews as ratings and facilities can change.
