Holiday Inn Algiers - Cheraga Tower
Cheraga · hotel dining offer · pools and city views
The draw here is a real, dated dining benefit, but check the room reviews separately. Booking.com shows 7.2/10 from 528 hotel reviews, with location at 8.0 and value at 7.3. That is weaker than several other Algiers hotels on this site. For a hotel stay, compare the full room price and recent feedback before choosing it.
25–30% off eligible dining
IHG's live dining promotion explicitly lists the Cheraga Tower's Ikosium and Restaurant Le 101. IHG One Rewards Club, Silver and Gold members receive 25% off eligible food and drink; Platinum, Diamond and Ambassador members receive 30%. The promotion runs until 30 December 2026 and can be used with or without a hotel stay. It is a restaurant-bill discount, not a room-rate discount.
What do you need to do?
Join IHG One Rewards or use an existing membership, reserve with the participating restaurant when needed, and show your membership to staff while paying in person. IHG's terms cover up to eight diners per member bill. Alcohol, room service, minibar, meals already included in a room rate, taxes and service charges are excluded. Blackout dates and restaurant availability may apply; ask the hotel before dining.
About the hotel
The official property page describes indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, parking for registered hotel guests, and two restaurants. Cheraga is west of central Algiers; IHG says the airport is about 29 km away. This is a hotel-first or dining-led option rather than a walkable Casbah base.
Before booking a room
- Read recent room, service and maintenance reviews; the overall Booking.com score is modest.
- Choose the exact room and view; do not assume a sea view in every category.
- Confirm pool/spa access and any seasonal or extra charges.
- Check breakfast, taxes, parking and cancellation in the final room total.
- For dining only, confirm Ikosium or Le 101 participation and any exclusions before ordering.
Better reviewed Algiers stays
Lamaraz Hotels is stronger for a spa-focused stay; Hôtel RALF works for a more central city break. See the Algiers shortlist.
